Who we are and how to contact us

Simora Advisory provides fractional CFO and strategic advisory support to businesses. For questions about this policy, to correct information or to make a privacy request, email Support@gosimora.com or call +1 (516) 836-7537. Please describe your request without sending passwords, account numbers or other sensitive records.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide through our website and communications. Depending on the form, this includes your name, email address, company, revenue range or industry, inquiry and consultation preferences. A booking also creates an appointment record, meeting time, meeting link and related correspondence. Newsletter subscriptions include your email address and subscription status. Our hosting and communication providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, request details, delivery failures and security events to operate and protect the service. Please do not include bank details, Social Security numbers, confidential financial documents or other sensitive personal information in website forms.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, arrange and deliver requested consultations, send booking confirmations and calendar invitations, provide requested resources and email updates, maintain subscription preferences, operate the website and prevent misuse. We also retain records needed to resolve questions, comply with applicable obligations and protect our business and visitors. Booking a consultation is separate from subscribing to our newsletter. You can contact us without subscribing.

Service providers and sharing

We use service providers to host the website, store records and deliver communications. These include Amazon Web Services for hosting and email delivery, and Microsoft services for Teams meetings and Outlook calendar invitations. To arrange a meeting, relevant contact and appointment information is included in the invitation. Your email or calendar provider also processes invitations you receive or accept under its own policies. Information may be disclosed where needed to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request, protect rights and security, or support a business transfer subject to appropriate protections. We do not provide website inquiry or subscriber lists to third parties for their own direct marketing through this website.

Cookies and tracking

The public website is designed to work without advertising cookies or cross-site advertising trackers. We do not currently use third-party behavioral advertising or audience analytics on the public pages. Staff sign-in areas use authentication technology to maintain secure sessions. Hosting and security operations may still process technical request information. Because the public website does not carry out cross-site advertising tracking, it does not change that behavior in response to a browser Do Not Track signal. External websites and meeting services reached through links may use their own cookies or tracking under their own policies. If we introduce optional tracking that requires permission, we will update this policy and provide the relevant choices before it operates.

Email choices

You can stop newsletter emails using the unsubscribe link in an email or the Unsubscribe page on this website. The website may send a verification code to confirm a subscription change. You can also contact Support@gosimora.com for assistance. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent necessary messages about a consultation you requested. We may retain a minimal record of an unsubscribe, delivery failure or complaint so that we can honor sending preferences and protect email delivery.

Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including responding to inquiries, managing bookings, maintaining subscriptions and meeting applicable recordkeeping obligations. Retention depends on the information, our relationship with you and relevant legal or business requirements. We use access restrictions and technical safeguards intended to protect information. No internet service, transmission or storage method is completely secure. Contact us promptly if you believe information submitted through our website has been misused.

Your privacy requests

You may contact us to ask about information you have provided, request access or correction, or ask us to delete it. Depending on your location and the laws that apply, you may have additional rights, including rights to object to or restrict certain processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a regulator. Email Support@gosimora.com with your request. We may need to confirm your identity and the scope of the request before responding. Some records may need to be retained for legal, security or other permitted reasons; we will explain any relevant limitations. You do not need to provide sensitive identity documents with your initial request.

Visitors outside the United States

Simora is a United States business. Information provided through the website may be processed in the United States and in locations used by our service providers, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where additional privacy or international transfer requirements apply, we will address them as required by applicable law. Contact us with questions before sending sensitive information.

Children and external links

Our website is intended for business owners and professional audiences, not children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the website, contact us so we can investigate and address it. Links to LinkedIn, Microsoft Teams and other external services lead to services we do not control. Review their privacy notices when using them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The last updated date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be described on this page and, where required, communicated by an additional notice or consent request. Contact Support@gosimora.com if you have questions about a change.
